
Emergency Family Funds
The Archuleta Emergency Funds, administered by the Pagosa Community Initiative (PCI), provide financial assistance to local families for essential needs during times of crisis. Our program is designed to support family stabilization by covering critical expenses like rent, utilities, vehicle repairs, and more.
How to Apply
Residents can apply for emergency funds either through a referral from community agencies or by submitting a self-referral application. The application process is as follows:

Submit an application:
Complete the online application with all required documentation.

Screening Process:
Requests under $300 are reviewed by PCI’s Executive Director.
Requests over $300 are screened by the PCI Financial Committee.

Phone Interview
Once your application is reviewed, you will be contacted for a phone interview with either the Executive Director or the Family Services Director.
